💫 Today, we don't need to connect in English classes; we have to work in Guide 10 asynchronously. The Guide has three parts: 1. Reading the book " The Perks of  Being a Wallflower". The teacher says to read as much as we can.  Yesterday, I left to read fifty pages. Today, I started at fifty-one and read sixty-nine pages. Today, I can read more time than yesterday, around two and a half hours.  Today go to the public library in my town, Heredia, and I searched for the book, I am happy 😊 because I found it. I prefer to read the book on paper than in pdf.  There, in the public library, I do my reading time because I need to wait for my nephew to go out to school. The library is the best site to read, it is quiet and I can concentrate on learning. I love libraries and churches!💖 2. View videos and take notes. This part is very important because the grammar needs more careful to apply correctly. I write many things in my notebook. When I finish I take pictures and past...

 Let me see. Today, in the morning, the teacher gave us guide 9, and then the guidance teacher came to introduce herself and do an activity with the group. When she finished, everyone continued working on the guide. The work consists of reading the book " The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and making a list of the words we can't understand and searching for the meaning, for the increment to vocabulary. I think it is a really interesting way to learn new words. I liked!😊 I try to read instead about 1 hour and 30 minutes, but I can't read faster, because there are many unknown words. Tomorrow I will read a half hour more than today. The second part of the guide was a listening practice with eight videos to listen to and then answer the items. I need to repeat the videos many times to understand better every conversation and check the correct answer.  Well today I am working on some subjects like adverbs of frequency, there is, there are, 's possessive, parts of the house. Begin with " Frequency Adverbs ", the meaning of every one of then 100% - always 90% - almost always 85% - usually 75% - often 60% - sometimes 35% - hardly ever 20% - almost never 0% - never Question form: How often do you...? ... go to the gym? ...eat pizza? ...go to the movies? ...play tennis? Answers:  Subject + frequency adverb + verb + rest I almost never go to the gym. After studying this subject we work in the same presentation groups as the last time, "The Beach Team". We write twenty lines with questions about Adverbs of Frequency, the teacher gives us forty minutes and then we do the presentation. That really helps to learn. The following item was " 'S Possessive " Examples The car of my brother. My brothe r's car. My brothers' car.  ( plural form ) My sister's computer. My students' books. ( ...

 Today I learned about irregular plurals like: half = halves potato = potatoes cactus = cacti phenomenon = phenomena man = men mouse = mice sheep deer fish There are some examples, we see more in guide 7. Also, I saw two videos, the first is about adverbs of frequency and simple present, with examples in positive and negative forms. The second is over there is and there are, the first is for singular and the second for plural. For negative sentences, use isn't or aren't. For questions, it used to be first and then there and the end question mark (?).  Today the teacher gave us some advice to learn the list of irregular verbs from yesterday, she said to study five words every day. I think is a great idea! I can do that!😊 True, as well as work in listening, I believe I need more attention because when I read and see the words I said of course it is. OMG 😅 Definitely every day I learn more and I feel very good about myself! 

 Today I learned about definite and indefinite articles: A for consonants. - a ball An for vowels. - an orange The for specific cases. Also three forms of use "Can" 1. Ability - I can speak two languages. 2. Possibility - I know can win the exam. 3. Permission -  Can I go to the bathroom? Another subject was The imperative That is used to give commands and orders. - Write your name. - Cross the road. Very important The prepositions of time: In / At /On In: month/ years / periods.  In: a period of time in the future. At: with precise time On: with days of the week. On: with specific calendar days. We study the pronouns: Subject / object / posesive determiner / posesive pronouns/ reflexive pronouns We need to study a list of irregular verbs. All we learn is very important. The list of irregular verbs is the more difficult to learn. I definetly need study more time this list.

  Hello!👋 First of all, today started Part 1 of the book, and thirty minutes of reading were a few. I wanted to continue reading. Today I had the opportunity to hear my classmates' presentations, and with that, I can  strengthen  the simple present and get better forms of pronunciation. Then, when we worked in groups, that was very interesting. The interaction with new forms of thinking allowed me to learn more than I imagined. All the activities we did today I enjoy it too much.  Today definitely I felt more comfortable and happy in the classes.😊  

 1. Today, we worked on listening exercises. First, listen and then read. After that, we respond to someone's practice. It was difficult, but we could hear six times before answering.  Some exercises were very easy to respond to. Other not much. But was the first time to do that kind of practice. For this, I califiqueted my work with an eigth. I know I need to practice more in this area. 2. This type of test I like because I need more of my capacity of comprehension and when I can do it, I feel very good. 3. I feel tired because I have a lot of work, but I am happy because I can learn more every day.

 My first day in this English class was confusing, but I can write this blog, and I am happy because it is a new experience.😌😊
